PEACHWOOD’S ITALIAN GREYHOUND kennel is located in Fresno, California on 5 acres. Facilities include a separate building indoor dog room, office, with runs and large grass exercise yards. Due to our climate in California, all dogs are able to enjoy lots of outdoor and indoor time for needed exercise, attention and socialization. We have been at this location since 1982. Our place is complete with horses, cats, geese, chickens and bird aviaries.
PEACHWOOD ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS has been seriously breeding and showing since 1987 and have bred and shown close to 50 American Kennel Club Champions to date. And many of these are also currently producing more champions for our kennel and other breeders. I am actively showing and breeding at this time.
PEACHWOODS reputation is built on breeding and showing healthy, sound, correct type, size, color, and temperament. I have a long term commitment to continue this ongoing standard. All breedings are carefully planned for the above characteristics; from AKC Champion parents. I love this breed of dog; clean, a loving companion, and a joy to show. I breed only to continue this enjoyment and for the betterment of Italian Greyhounds. Each individuals welfare comes first. So, only occasionally
do I have show quality or pet /companion puppies available. All show or pet/companion puppies from my kennel are sold on a contract with a health guarantee.
I am a member of the ITALIAN GREYHOUND CLUB OF AMERICA and of the NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ITALIAN GREYHOUND CLUB.
I have also judged the Italian Greyhound Club of America National Specialty Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes in 2004 and the Italian Greyhound Club of America National Specialty Top 20 in 2006.
I am proud of the care that has gone into what I raise and show.
